That vintage strat you had yesterday was way fine, too.



Before I moved here, I lived in the heart of the city. The first night a train horn woke me up about 2:00 a.m. My first thought was 'Oh $#!+'. My second thought was 'Hey, its not a gunshot, police siren, car alarm going off, the neighbors fighting or playing their music so loud the bass rattles the windows'. The train horn was over in a few seconds, I went back to sleep, and they've never bothered me since.

I can hear a train in the distance about 3/4 mile from the back of my house. Something about that sound at night lulls me to sleep.

Lee, at the time of this hat, put factory creases in their line of hats. I bump this hat and it pops right back to the factory crease. Lovely green felt.

Looking good Perry!

My father worked for the Southern Pacific, I guess I have railroads in my blood somewhere. We hear the main line from about the same distance. Always know when the Amtrack Cascades comes though, a special tone to the horn chimes.

Love that liner picture! I like a nice liner - no one gets to see it when you're wearing the hat, but it just feels good knowing it's there. Same with clothes that have beautiful linings.
