finding quality vintage 7 1/4 is not insanely easy or anything ... and the way you feel about my size is the envy I have for guys who wear a 7

Fantasitc. Almost has a purple tinge to a rust colour. Now I am a little Green.

Stetson 3X Beaver Quality Mode Edge, made right around 1950. Ribbon added much more recently.

I sold the Federation II to a buddy of mine. I will have to see if he can wear it next time we see each other. His usual summer hat is a USMC pith helmet or his Australian slouch hat (akubra made of course).
