Looking good Red!! Hope the Doc prescribed some cold ones !Grey day calls for a grey hat. I'll be wearing the Portis "New Slant" to a doctor checkup and then off to campus. Pic from archives, no time for a shot today. Love this hat, light as a feather.

If you do any reflecting back on this Memorial Day keep a thought & prayer for all the Gold Star mothers & grandmothers, for what they lost & never recovered from.
Darn. That Nutria rocksYesterday a black Stetson from the 60's
Today, Harv's 1 million dollar hat, a Stetson Real Nutria
What a beauty...
And here's Femke in one of Simone's older hats.
At the Zoo, Pith Helmet..
Thanks my friend !!! I have been very busy, lots of work, anyway it seems that I can get back to the chat !!Yo, Rudolfo!! Great to see you my friend! Looks like you still lead the pack to some fantastic adventures. Your helmet is a real "pitha!
Thanks Red. I wonder how old this Champ is? Do you know how old your Portis is?Great bash on that Champ! It has the felt hat band like my Portis. That jacket really has some character, cool.
Thanks Willebe. I try as much as possible to run all my errands from spring thru fall on the bicycle.I understand, and Kudos to the fact that you are still on the bike pedalling. After all it is the joy of the ride that matters and not the length or climb. Keep pedalling my friend!

I like that basket GHT. I need to improve the load carrying capacity of my bike. I wasn't too fond of riding in a big city either.Fun? Bicycles? Raindrops keep falling on my head.

Back in London I wouldn't have given it a week before being involved in a collision, but here in the beautiful New Forest, I can, and do, ride to the supermarket, and the only accident that ever happens is if the wind blows my hat off.
Thanks Jeremy. No good idea who made the jacket. The lining has been replaced and all traces of labeling are gone. By the zipper it dates to the late 40s to early 50s and by style it might have been one of the California makers.Great looking hat sir! I also love that jacket!! Who makes that jacket if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks Rodolfo. Feelin a little horsey.Looking good in Western style Bro !!
