Congratulations to you & yours, Charlie! I'm sure he will bring much joy to those who love him in his lifetime. So, today while we were all doing other things, (8:00 AM, actually) my newest grandson, Noah, finally arrived.
That is one great hat, Greg!Congratulations to Charlie and the latest edition to his family. An old Stetson for me today.

I like a thin ribbon, Strat clone on you, Wes. A Playboy clone would probably look good also. What a wet spring we're having this year.
College Club Strat clone, taking some shelter in the library.

That things screams "dream felt". Just a beautiful hat, your daughter has a great eye!I opened the door to my hat room where somewhere around 120 hat boxes are stacked ... I asked my daughter to pick one... she pointed to a Cavanagh box

I hope you are right Red! We got 18-inches of rain at the farm on the weekend. The bridge is out, my gate is gone, I fear for the mill wheel and I don't know how the garden is (heading down tonight). No tomatoes in yet, so we are good there.
Congrats Gramps! So, today while we were all doing other things, (8:00 AM, actually) my newest grandson, Noah, finally arrived. Like me, he was late at the start, but finally arrived!

It is an Acorn Fawn model. Thanks, I do enjoy that hat.Very nice. Is it the Acorn Fawn or the Bluegrass Green model?
That Hat is pretty spiffy, Red! The bow is very handsome. I couldn't help but notice your African cichlid tank in the background. Looks great! The arrival of a new hat always picks one up. My Churchill Lord's Hat was on the doorstep this afternoon. It appears to be NOS, beautiful felt, smooth and clay like. I have bee wanting a true "Lord's Hat" for a while, fished this one out of the bay. I now have to look up that old Churchill thread to post it in.

I'm not waving "howdy". The water was this high (and we are about 100 feet from the creek).
Found the gate!
Not the bridge though. This bit of concrete is all that remains.
The water mill wheel is still there. Amazing as the river was completely over it.
