I hope you are all enjoying the holidays! Looks like everyone here has been celebrating in style, I will have to have a better look at all the hats when I have some more time :)

It's warm and very windy here, so no hat but a light absorbing velvet beret for me today

Celia very nice and intriguing hat
It reminds me of the Italian women's hats of the Renaissance.
I quickly looked for a pictorial reference, but without appreciable results
Good continuation of holiday

Thank you Daniele, I know exactly what you mean, and the beret happens to be Italian too :) Beautiful picture of you and your daughter!

NIce shot, nice hat. Safe travels and enjoy yourself in the "World O Ribbon"!

Looks plush and pettable. Merry Christmas, Celia.

Love the picture, Daniele. Merry Christmas. Love that hat, too. It looks like delicious chocolate with a carmel ribbon.

I think I may be hungry...

Thank for your kind words.
My daughter Ginevra is the only in my family with ice-blue eyes, my father's gift.
We celebrated Christmas and Hannukkah (Festa delle luci) in family, in the home of Monica mother, and for almost starved Jim the menu was only fish.
Here Jim at you choice the dishes: Scottish smoked salmon, ravioli with shrimp and zucchini, cold salad of octopus and potatoes and red snapper baked in salt with confit tomatoes. Classic tiramisu. Wines: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene and Gerwutztraminer South Tyrol plus for the sweets Recioto della Valpolicella
You know that here is Italian custom to talk about food while you eat so good appetite for you eating
The hat is today the same as yesterday

Stetson Absinthe kind gift from Steve

It comes directly from the outlet of Garland

It has some flaws, the lining is poorly positioned and ribbon and bow are made a little hastily. Excellent felt

I like a lot and also the Boxing Day is on my head

Lovely hats and family pictures (Sergej, Daniele and so many others). Here Boxing day is called San Esteban and is a holiday in Catalonia. My hat made from my stash of vintage velours, has a bow made with the same fabric as the jacket, and a vintage Jomaz brooch of a carol singer.

Cappello molto bello Cristina. Amo il verde nelle sue tonalità.
Anche in Italia è la festa di Santo Stefano;)
