So cute!!
Looking good Serge. Isn't a black bowtie the usual wear for waiting the daughter's dinner parties?
Michael
Thank Harv,Beautiful girl Sergej!
You clean up good as well!
Everyone looking mighty fine today!!
My hat today. A black fur felt with asymmetrical crown and a wide upturned brim edge. It's my favorite hat and I made it ages ago. It's in two pieces, crown and brim blocked separately and stitched together. Faux leather trim. The hat blocks were bought new from a German block maker whose name I cannot remember right now (old age?) and who no longer is in business.

Winter's return brings out the pea coat and Pimbell as I go back downtown to the store for Christmas cookie ingredients.

We don't seem to see much (well, at least I haven't) on the Lounge about Anabaptist and other headwear worn by practitioners of various religions. This webpage http://philippi-collection.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html?m=1 does a very nice job covering the Anabaptists and has links to pages that describe the communities, their beliefs and their histories. There also is great info on other denominations' headwear elsewhere on the site.
Wonderful hats today... Thanks for sharing them with me. It's always a ton of fun.
For today a Stetson Ringo from the 60's
And later a Resistol Stagecoach hat
Wore the outback today.
Off to Bruges again? Nice beret, reminds me I need to pack mine...n

Great hat, even after its run in with mother nature.A very quick picture of today's hat. It's a cheap wool one I bought at a second hand shop years ago, just because I liked the shape of it. I got stuck in a downpour wearing it last year so it's a bit worse for wear since. I always imagined having a copy made of it in proper fur felt with nicer trimmings, but I don't know if a milliner would do that... Not exactly a priority right now anyway.

This is my last daily hat here for a while as I'm off for the holidays early tomorrow morning and can't take more than a couple of hats with me. I'll try to pop in occasionally to look at all your hats and say hi, and who knows, maybe I'll come across some nice hats on my travels.
Wishing you all a merry Christmas & Chanukah Sameach!
Awesome! You wear it well, Mark.Monsivais cap for casual Friday.

Another Knox Madison Avenue this morning. This one is kind of a light periwinkle (if that's what you would call it).

A very merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah to all. I wish you safe and fun-filled days.
Will someone call please call my office to let them know that I won't be in? I really, really don't feel like caring today.
