Yes!!
Thanks Harv! (And everyone for the likes)
Yes!!
That's a good happening!Thank you very much Daniele. It's a bit larger than a fascinator but a bit smaller than a propper hat, so I'd say it's a cocktail hat. It's American, from the late 1950s.
Today almost became a miserable boring hat day, but then this black borsalino homburg happened:

It was made for the German market, perhaps the little brother of the one @mayserwegener wore the other day? Here are a couple of quick pictures, if I have time later I will take some better ones for the borsalino thread...

With all the custom hatters out there, I'm wondering if I'll ever buy an Akubra or modern Stetson. Oh, I would wear one with pride if I received it as a gift, but when I'm laying out my cash I really get the hankering for commissioning artworks to wear.
I have a gift card from Amazon. Odd thing is I am considering using it towards a hat from a lesser known (quality?) Polish manufacturer, Sterkowski. Maybe part of me is just rooting for the little guy, maybe it's the math where I'm comparing the value of 3/8 Sterkowski v. 5/8 Campdraft. Maybe I am crazy...never mind, that was settled long ago.
Very nice! That one is a versatile color, that bow looks special. Yay! Esther!
Nice VS, love the color and ribbon!View attachment 63314
VS Artlite today until the wind comes up.
Professional looking stingy! I like it. Is it late 50s/early 60s? Black or really dark brown? I enjoy my Cav with these proportions I'm liking a similar Knox!A meeting today demands a more professional hat than yesterday, so I went with my Knox Madison Avenue.
Very nice one from Art. I like the colors.View attachment 63314

Another interesting hat brand Perry! Love that mile high crown! History? Liner/sweat images? You always pique my inquiring hat knowledge brain with these hats.

Unexpected field trip to make a delivery this morning.
I'm wearing the 1950s Crofut & Knapp Forty.
No sunshine today. But there was a beautiful sunrise.
Thanks for all of the kind words about yesterday's Knox.
Have a delightful Friday eve.

OMG Matt, you just gave me one of those "great hat strokes" that Michael had. You are promoting an epidemic on the lounge. I'm drooling...not on that hat of course. Is that a 3" brim, it looks super wide? This one made my day!Unexpected field trip to make a delivery this morning.
