M.W.B. Stolzf. Luxury Velour, 1930s. This is indeed a very luxurious / dense Velour.

Sitting at home watching some Noir on the tube. I could swear John Forsythe is wearing Matt's Polar. Enough about hats though, my smoking cap. I made it a couple of years ago for these cool winter evenings.

Whew, he saved his bacon.
That thing rocks. Shouldn't it be called a vaping cap, though?

Out of curiosity, what flick were you watching?

I still smoked when I made it. I was wearing my vaping jacket though. The movie was The Captive City (1952).

I see Daniele beat me to it, but great matchup of the hat with the clothes this morning. Great hat on it's own of course, but super outfit to go with it. That sunshine is looking good too, it's supposed to snow here today.

May I say as Italian man your choice of colors matching shirt and jacket of the same color of the hat are among the best seen in recent months here in FL.
Complimenti per l'eleganza!

Thanks Daniele and Michael. That's high praise coming from you two.

Truth be told... I only chose the clothes so they would match my socks.

Every night now, the temperature falls a few degrees below zero.
During the day the sun's warming is minimal, therefore the cold persists, but the winter light is fantastic

This morning everything was frozen and can not wear a hat, only caps with ear flaps

In returning home I put this Tirard French made
4kfh5l.jpg

Felt medium-high density with a marked turn toward the heather
The ribbon in "hot" black and white textured reminds some of Cappellificio Cervo ribbons

The color is called in French "nuance tweed" and changed from every angle

The hat comes straight from the 60s

Have a nice Saturday and thanks for the appreciations on the Panizza Kangaroo

Dear Michael
after seeing your complete and clothes in recent weeks I have chosen you as the best dress on FL
Your "mise" to smoke, watching television, is eccentric, but he made me happy because there are still people, in this world of equals, who plays in his own way the dressing
Evviva il Rinascimento del proprio gusto personale!

That is a gorgeous bit of felt Daniele. And the ribbon is very interesting too. You are right about the light. Fantastic detail in the photos.
