Also -- thanks for all the uplifting things everyone passed my way last week. Unfortunately, the wife and I found out for sure on Friday that we had a miscarriage. Our spirits were pretty low after we got the news, but we're doing much better now.
Sorry to hear that, Blue. Hang in there.

The way the ribbon works with the blue felt is just lovely.
Power tools... Yippee. Here's hoping you make it through your day headache free.
Enjoy.
Thank you Matt. Your hat today is spectacular. Those tones work really well for you.

Still a stunner, no matter what expression! Still love the color of that hat!
Thank you!

Puffy eyes? Whatever.
Make sure Dad doesn't drill a hole in that hat! ;)
Ha!
All I had to do was hold the vacuum.

Borsalino. I love this hat.

Looks great.

Saying goodbye to an old friend who visited with us for the weekend.

One of those brims you don't need a microscope to enjoy.
Your daughter looks so much like her beautiful mama.
Stunning. Looks great with the background.
Thx!

Beautiful hat.
But more importantly... I'm so very sorry to read your news. You and your family are and shall remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I love the nice collections of lids on display here this afternoon. Some real nice Borsalinos, a 40s era OR, a Mallory Premier Dallas, and just a nice assortment of other lids.

I'm wearing a later model OR that I reworked and recreased to use for a work hat. I also added a 2 ply thin ribbon with a simple knot and tails. It's starting to get that nice whopper jawed and seasoned look to it...

So very sorry to hear the sad news. There just aren't words sufficient to cover some things. MrsFed and I know this pain. We know the future will be better. Continue to love each other, friend.

Sweet hat, brother. All the best for you both.

PH. Möckel Hutfabrik, Homburg vor der Höhe, probably early 1900s. This is the hat company that made the first Homburg Hat for Edward VII of England. They went out of business in 1932.
