One of my favorite hats to wear. The Fray sweat is very soft and touches the entire perimeter of my forehead. I wonder if the original owner a century ago (the word "Fling" is written in ink on the sweat - perhaps his name?) loved it as much.

Yesterday, September 26, was the first day this fall that it was cool enough (for me) to wear felt. To celebrate, I wore a new hat: a Tyrolean.



A good thing I wore it, too. We had a fire alarm at work and we were outside for quite some time.

Now all I need is lederhosen and I can go vacationing in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern... (OK, now I'm just trolling )
