I recently got an offer to do a 6 month stint with a band who has a residency in south Florida ... my inlaws own a condo on Hollywood beach .... a short walk from the residency venue ... my wife was all about making the temporary move

I decided against the good paying gig because it would be through the autumn and winter months and I would not be able to wear my felts ... that and I hate the heat

I'm all about bikinis ... just not the beach

I lived a block from Venice Beach for 6 years ... probably stepped on the sand during daylight hours 3 or 4 times

I like the beach at night ... thats about it

I knew there were lots of things we had in common, Moon. Since my earliest days of dating and marriage, I've always needed to be medicated to go to an ocean beach (unless someone could clean up that sand) I prefer my grassy shore, freshwater pond.

I go to either Long Beach or Cape Hedge Beach, small beaches in Rockport, just north of Glosta.
There's also Good Harbor Beach in Glosta, but it's usually really crowded in the summer.
