Wonderful color!View attachment 53159
Guys, you look great (or sometimes greyT, as it comes to colour in these hats!
Since it is raining and windy down here in Poland today, I put my Borso hellgrau from Breiter Hut on. In theory it should be light grey, but it has blue and green tints in its greyness. Good for blue suits.
Best,
Wojtek
Nice Resistol Cuz! You wear the cattleman crease well, especially the more dressy, shorter brimmed ones.

I am joining the hat/cap fray today with a Simonds Streamline cap.

Darn what a nice hat, if it is 7 1/2 and you decide it does not look good on you, I can adopt it with lots of loveHückel (Weilheim) "Special", probably mid 1950s
Thank you, your compliments, as ever, are generous to a fault. I didn't clarify that legend about St Swithin. If it rains on his feast day, so the tale goes, it will rain for 40 days and 40 nights. There's actually some science to the St Swithin story. The jet stream tends to move up and down the northern part of the globe quite regularly. If, during the summer months, it's in a higher position we get far less rain than when it's lower. At it's lowest, it brings continual rain off the Atlantic and saturates Europe. And as the first landfall is Ireland, they get the worst of it. Maybe that's why it's known as The Emerald Isle. All that rain water creates lush vegetation. But as today is St Swithin's, I do hope that the sun has got his hat on and he's coming out to play. Also WELL DONE, Robert!! Fabulous look, and do I see at least two other fedoras in the crowd? And your blue/white puppies are perfect, Pal!!!
Thanks to all for the likes and comments on my recent postings, especially the Churchill I posted yesterday. Twenty eight likes and several comments may be a personal best. Staying with my western theme of the week, all with the cattleman crease, I'm wearing a Resistol "Beaver 25." Trying to get these recent acquisitions used to my head. Even the t-shirt is sporting a cattleman crease. Little bit of rain as well.
