Nice! How was your experience at Optimo? Must be great that you were able to go in person. I have a custom oxblood which I love, but I've been eyeing the straw lately.

At a certain age, you begin to see the cycles of fashion. You're probably there; I'm beyond that age. Some of us never catch up to "current" trends, or never care to comply with those trends in the first place. Since I tend to fall more into the later category, I'm not always aware of specific fashion coming and going, like paisley, or whatever.

So, when did paisley fall out of fashion? I have a couple of paisley shirts, shorts, and countless neckties.

And remember the expression, "Fashion can be purchased; style is something you must possess..."

You have great style, Trenchy. Never lose that!!

Ah, now I comprehend! Thanks! :)

I personally think too, that Paisley is still a great, real timeless classic and basic. And I think, generally it never got really out of fashion, worldwide and was always there. But in old Germany, I remember, that the nice elegant Paisley-men shirts were still often seen in the 90's, my childhood, which were probably not much different from the german 70's. Paisley, Hawaii-shirts, classic shirts, Poloshirts, T-shirts were all together.

But, as I remember, the fashion changed with the beginning of the 2000's. A newer generation was appearing, I guess.

But, now the people seems to get rid of these "youth-obsession" and the elegance is back!! :):):)

Esther , you Definitely have IT going on . You can make anything Look Great . You know I think you could be a Model , and are . Just Gorgeous , and So Kind . Inward Beauty , makes the Outward , but ugly , as they say , Is to the bone . I hope I don't make you blush , many that just have it outward become much less attractive once you know them (even ugly , some), and many that don't turn your head , once you get to know them become Knock Outs . I'm older , but I'm still ticking , and I've met both , but having both is rare . You're our Esther , Sweet and Lovely . And you make Hats , and are intelligent , the total package . Beautiful Hat , Dress , and Young Lady .

Aren't you the sweetest! I blushed a little bit.
We are raised to not pay too much attention to looks and material things. So I'm not much into looking nice all the time. But every now and again I do make an effort :)

I will show that to german girls, that they see, how real women look! ;)
Well, I'm part German... But thank you. We come in all shapes and sizes.
This, is lacking elegance? I'm going to have to relearn the meaning of the word]

Thx Jim, you should see me in real life, I'm like a bull in a china shop.
Great dress!
Thx! I'm not that much of a flowery girl, but I like it. And I spilled tomato soup all over it :D

Haha, thx!

That's sharp!
Thank you!

Ah! One of my favorite hats in the world. It brightens my day to see it.

I agree, that is just BEAUTIFUL!
