Nobody got ruffled. Thanks for starting a fun conversation. 9 outta 10x I'm a straw n shorts guy. I'm trying to find a good way to integrate some fur felts into my cooler summer day/evening wardrobe. Good luck with dat! Right?
So Bob..
It's a cool, breezy beach night and you are partaking in some outdoor libations with close friends
Shorts, brand new zip hoodie, and a light felt..... No?

Sounds like it would look fly to me ... All in lighter colors

beautiful hat and great colors all around Perry ... killer tie!

I would love to see how you shape your hats ... it is truly like no one else I've ever seen ... been something I've been interested in for a while as you know.

any chance you can throw a quick vid in the Monster Bash thread at some point ?

Happy Hump Day, my friends!

Esther, that is a truly Joao-worth hat right there. Stunningly impressive - you must turn some heads with that.
Matt, the Vita Felt is choice! Vita Felt means it's actually partially alive, right?
dh66 - It's been fairly warm here the past few days, but I haven't broken out a straw - yet (or shorts!)
Zombie - aren't Bermudas "dress shorts?"

(Sorry - no hats)

Fresh from being chased across the parking lot on a windy Wednesday in March - the 150th Anniversary Stetsonian sits back on my head, none the worse for the short flight it took.

Always a treat to see your hat about 15 feet in the air and 30 feet out. Dang thing needs a wind trolley!

I miss "Pants Off Dance Off."
You could always go with a Utilikilt. They probably have a place to put your sticks.

And thanks for the compliment!

why do I not own a Utilkilt ????
it could take the place of my lack of shorts wearing and probably looks killer with boots.
... if you're gonna go all out go balls out ... that's what I say

My wife tries to talk me into one every year at the Celtic Festival. I'm...ambivalent.

At least it's airy in the summer months :)

Fruno, thanks. It does turn some heads from time to time yeah. :)
Looking good yourself!

Thank you, Ma'am! (tips hat).

Mmbarnes: that is one beautiful hat.

Mmmmm. Rich brown with hints of red. Fantastic.

Thanks Tiki Tom and Harv.

Yes, Jim. It is partially alive. I have it fastened to my head with velcro to keep it from scooting around.

Great Stetsonian! Love the color and I'm glad it did not escape. Velcro is good for windy days. ;)

I second Esther's remarks about thanking you all, you are the best critics, then again you are all such stylish hat wearers. You have given the young lady a tremendous boost of confidence, thanks again.
This lovely shirt depicting 1930's travel had to be covered with a maroon Oxford blazer, where did the sunshine go? My favourite Stetson nearly took off earlier.
