It has at least another century of wear left in it... but I do reserve it for a nice weather forecast. ;^)

The right hat (straordinario) to close a week.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the melusine finish of felt and these shapes of hats.
The Hawes Von Gal has everything I like

Thank you Daniele. It was made sometime in the first decade of the 20th Century and somehow survived in almost new condition. It is one of two hats I own from this period that has a silk rather than a rayon ribbon.
