I like the sombrero...kinda looks like a bull!:)
;)

Is this the right time in Italy for felt hats?
In Italy I don't know. In Portugal... yes. Well I've been wearing felt hats all year... my straw hat is still inside the box. Must check it.

Joao my favorite is still the Sombrero today. And I didn't know there still IS a Sinclair scene! Tell me what you know...
Thank you.
The Timex-Sinclair... I don't know if you know that when Timex Computer Corp. stopped the computer production/selling/R&D, Timex of Portugal (TMX-PT) continued to make the computers (many TS1000/1500 computers have a "Made in Portugal" as well the RAM Pack TS1016.) and sold them in Portugal. The Timex-Sinclair brand was changed to Timex Computer so we got the Timex Computer 2068 that was modified (so it's not exactly the same as the american TS2068) to be more hardware compatible with the ZX Spectrum and the Timex Computer 2048, a 2068 with ZX Spectrum ROM but without the cartridge port and AY sound chip. We also got the Timex FDD, a Floppy Disk Drive system that later in the USA, Zebra Systems imported and sold with a twister board that was needed since the computers in Portugal had a Spectrum bus expansion connector instead of the TS2068 expansion connector.
So in a partnership, TMX-PT and a Polish company made a trade: TMX-PT exported computers/disk drive systems to Poland and imported Polish made monochrome monitors for the computers (Neptun 56 monitor).
My first computer was a TC2048 where I learned how to program. This Polish guy I met Saturday is traveling across Europe on vacation and contacted to met me, his first computer was also a TC2048.
I'm the creator of one of the best (so people say) Timex Computer related website, the Timex Computer World -> http://timex.comboios.info <- and this is here I'm connected with him and Timex-Sinclair scene.

PS: my website needs a clean up. It's untouched liked for 10 years...

Slightly off topic, but I was an early vendor to the Timex Sinclair program back when it was in Waterbury, CT. (The membrane keyboard version, Early 1980s) I think about those days often when driving by the former plant area which is now, of course, a shopping center in the "Brass City."

Off on neighborhood walkabout in my Stetson Premiere Milan.

Many thanks to those who commented on my falcon park last week.
David, as far as I know Parker is still hatting, but I haven't been in touch with him in quite awhile. His hats in my collection are still high among my favorites to wear.

Charlie, what an incredible photo and beautiful hat. I can almost smell the lakeside air.

I doubt it, but given that it is now time that I yearn to wear one today I took the first left out of the storage boxes.
I was also influenced by the great and wonderful parade of hats in recent weeks.

Have good day!

You make it right! Beautiful hat. I wear fur felt whenever possible.

Saturday I started with the Akubra Sombrero

And at night I went to meet a new Polish friend connected to the Timex Computer/Timex Sinclair scene and chosen this Resistol 3X beaver (sorry for the bad picture, the sun was already down).

Today is an Akubra Safari hat...

This has gained me over time, normally I like wider brim and taller crowns, but this one looks nicer everyday

Hey everyone!
Happy Labor Day!

Nice 3X, Trevi. The color looks good on you.
Fruno, diggin' the Stetson Milan
Daniele, I love that shade of blue. Great looking hat.

Just got back from the parade. I took one ofme in my Borso, with my 92 year young Grandma trying her best to avoid the picture, but it didn't come out well. :( Here's one of her in the white hat.

We need to modernize our fire department.

My mom waiting for the order to remove parking barricades from the parade route. So civic-minded.
