Good morning from a cool 62'F morning with gusty winds. A vtg. Stetson Scoop and a Pendleton Board shirt are my morning choices.

Best, Eric -

Eric, that's a terrific looking hat. What color combo is that? Dove and silver ribbon?

Catching up a bit today.

Yesterday I wore the khaki colored Stratoliner while running errands in the afternoon. Got a few compliments on it.

Today I grabbed the Stetson Twenty for both shade and shelter from afternoon showers.

Edit to add: Not sure what's happening with the image sizing here. Both images were cropped and adjusted to be about the same size, but for some reason Tapatalk has enlarged the second one much bigger than I would have preferred. My apologies for sucking up the bandwidth on this page of the thread.

Since the weather went downhill again, i'm wearing my green hare hat with ostrich leather band.

Charlie; Welcome back from a cabin vacation. Good for you for making the time. Great hat.

David; You make Texas look cool and inviting. Glad you had a chance to visit with your daughter. They grow up so quickly.

Alan; Great pics of two hat connisseurs. Our missing loungers had so very much to contribute and I suspect they have even more sage wisdom and insight.

Strapped; Great pics of late. Your hat collection is easier to appreciate with the pics of late. Well worn sir.

Esther; I think it is excellent green felt. Thanks for your contributions.

Others; I do not have the time to thank everybody. I spread well wishes and thanks for their contributions to all.

Thanks for the comments folks. John the hat is a vtg.Stetson. It dates back to the late 40-early 50's (best details I can source). The felt is a light grey (very similar t the VS felt called dove) and the ribbon is a matching gray. The material in the ribbon reflects light and makes it look silver in pics. The ribbon and felt match-same color.

Best, Eric -

Hi Phil, that Harrison is sweet! Care to post a few more pix, and maybe an inside shot?
Not to worry, S4C, I can see your bow tie better. Great color combo. Is that 20 black or blue?
Catching up on yesterday, great lids, guys! I like Trevi's greenie, Eric always posts great pics of great hats. Bob, you have some of the nicest late model straws, and you wear them well! David, you and your daughter dressed up the square with style. Moe's bunny, Harv in the Moonstone, Charlie-by-the-Lake - all great hats and great pics. Not having been a FL Member for that long, I don't recognize the gentleman in the photos with Alan, so I'll just say - two good lookin' guys in great lookin' hats.

Yesterday, I pulled out my Thrift Store Milan for some quick afternoon errands. I had to sew a new sweat in this one, because the original didn't survive being worn all day on July 4th. Thanks to FL Member Bond for another great sweat band. Now I have to do some work on the pug, which seems to want to keep shaking loose.

Cooler weather has visited SW Ohio this morning, and they are calling for a beautiful week of sunny weather, milder temps, and no rain. Even with the bright sunshine, though, I declared today Blue Monday and plopped my D'Aquino Mk II on my head for the day.

Looking forward to the day, looking forward to the week, and looking forward to seeing the Hat Parade!

Busy Monday at work, so I can't comment on all the pics other than o say that I'm enjoying them as they come in.

Answering the direct question from Fruno - the hat is the blackest black I've seen, and mighty difficult to photograph because it sucks up the light around it. Guess it's channeling a miniature black hole. :)
