For Moontheloon
The novena is an activity of Christian devotion which consists mainly in reciting prayers (as Rosario) repeated for nine consecutive days.
Its name comes from the medieval Latin novenus (ninth).
It is intended to prepare for a solemn occasion, like Christmas or Pentecost, or just to take special thanks.

First, a praise for all the beautiful hats seen these days.
A special mention to Charlie in the beautiful features of grandfather.
Alan I hope you will leave a foundation that brings together your beautiful hats. Disperse would be a shame.
That goes for Steve and his magnificent collection of Europeans hats.
Tommy I like the shape of your crowns in cattleman style, but even more your hats.
And then the list becomes too long, so to all the hats weare od these days my warmest congratulations.

Today, gray day with high clouds and pleasant temperature in Verona.

Cavanagh 'Twenty' today. Well, the sweat isn't marked Twenty, but two of the tags under the sweat list it as a $20 hat. :)

Still working on getting the pinch centered. Wants to go back to a center dent instead of the diamond crease I prefer.

Everybody looked great yesterday. I'll echo everybody's compliments on Alan's collection. The straws you posted in the other thread were stunning.

Dave, take some pictures at the outlet and give us a "Full Report." I envy you, but I'm also looking at a possible trip to Lockheed soon, so I might be down there myself over the summer. Ask them if they've made my Stetsonian yet.

More rain. Rain that won't stop. My lawn is going to be up to my hips!

Weathering the storm with the European styling of my Tonak Colombo.

Great hats from the last 24 hours, guys.

Dave, I need to go and visit the Hatco outlet one of these days.

Hatto - don't see too many Meltons. Art in Hats indeed

Fruno - Lockheed in Ft. Worth? Be sure to visit Peter's Bros. Hats in Downtown FTW as well.

Alan - your Monte is a classic.

With the DFW area in the middle of that twirly rainy thing today, seemed like my Campdraft was a good idea

Thank you for the nice replies on yesterday's choice. Everyone is posting good photos - it's always exciting to see fine hats worn in the world.

New cap from Johnny!

Harv, the cap is a great look for you... as with Greg, this style (so well executed by Jonathan and other Lounge artisans) is a perfect fit for your strong jawline. Enjoy it!

I was there in January. Spoke with a lady - don't know her name. She was very gracious and I had a good visit. If I can get there this summer, I might look into a straw Indy. Walking in there is like taking a step back in time. It will be more interesting this time, as you guys have taught me so much since I was there in January.

Today, I am wearing my Stetson Panama. The hat originally had a thin black ribbon (I am not a fan of thin ribbons.) I have put a 3" wide "ribbon" on it (the "ribbon" was originally a ripped tie!) I will most likely wear this hat much more now that I modified it! :D

Outta the park, RetroS! May (or may not) need a touch of fine tuning, but the width and color and pattern are a knockout, sir. Looking good, and I admire your experimentation; trailblazing, even!!

Nice hats & caps today.

:arated:....I'm enjoying the stroll down hat lane.....

For me; I'll be wearing mostly a roof over my head this week....staying indoors with the A/C. Temps 98-99 degrees, no breeze, high humidity and smoke from a few wildfires in the area. Feel like temps 105.

I got South Florida weather in North Florida.

Wow, WOW, WOW!! Never too many top shelf lids, but how to comment!?

I've been airing out the Stetsons during the last few days of unsure weather. My 3X Quality...
