Thank you.

How much more wide? 1/8"? Can't see the difference.

Thank you!!

1/4 inch...the one I wore before has a 2 1/2 brim. The one I'm wearing above has a 2 3/4 wide brim. I just have the hat tilted back a little.....although that's still a stingy brim by your standards though! ;)

Thanks Harv

g.durand, Job, harv, GregNYC, Nice display of Straws guys. Very Nice.

Joao, I like that Brown color on your Stetson. Would you guess that to be a '70s vintage, maybe? I noticed a lot of Westerns from that era seemed to have had tall tapering crowns, especially the Resistol Stagecoaches from that period.

Anyway, here's one of my recent Stagecoach purchases, (it will eventually be converted). I reshaped the crown to a Center Dent and sewed on a contrasting medium brown ribbon with a double pointed western bow...

The bow came out really nice but it seems a little too large for my taste. I made up another one that's a little smaller which I'll sew on tommorrow....

Being a 3x beaver, it should have 30-40 years. It have the modern last drop liner. I bought it to remove the horsehair hatband (it costed me almost the same of a horsehair hatband) but ended liking the color so I wear it.

I too think it's a bit too big but it's well made.

Happy to see the variety of lids on display here.
Ingineer you hit the jackpot with that semi-c from Panama B! Terrific!
Terry I bow to your bow, Bud! A beauty!!
GreghNYC that's one of the sweetest stingies I've seen, and you rock the look, sir!

Still living in my VS Milan, with pug wrapped around Art's original bow (so as not to disturb Art's work, of course)!

I really like everyone's hats today! g.durand's OR Panama is really sharp, Joao's hat offers more shade than that tree, and Terry's double western bow is sublime!! :thumb:

3XB for me today...

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback, since I'm still a newbie and don't know yet what looks good on me. Yours looks effortlessly natural. I'm really excited about the variety here too. It keeps me going when I'm the only guy in midtown Manhattan in business attire sporting a hat! --Greg

I'm also enjoying the display.
Terry, that is a great looking hat and bow! Go thinner if you want, but I think it works as is too.
Gregnyc, nice looking!
AnA, most excellent shot!

Broke out the Brills fifteen for a brief spell today. Excellent hat with not nearly enough head time.
