I reblocked my falcon park, again, because it only looks good to me with Parker's original crease. Had a little more success duplicating it this time.

Been so busy this week that I've had no time to visit the Lounge!
Last night Caren and I had to stay near DFW Airport after out flight to Boston was cancelled - hoping to get home some time today, but we'll see!. Got my first ever PBRs from the gas station across from the hotel. I brought my Worth & Worth Montecristi (my favorite summer travel hat) along on the trip.

'60s Stetson 3X. Four hours of pressure washing today in the Florida sun. Why I like felt hats. They seemingly last forever. This was given to me by a lady at Church. It was her late husbands. It was well worn and used,then stored for an extended period. The two holes in the crown by the new sweat stain are moth holes. I gave it a naphtha bath, reblocked it, and sewed in a new sweat. Now it's my work out in the weather hat. I couldn't let that ole hat just sit around. It'll be around when I'm long gone! Happy 4th!

I had to change it up. My wife surprised me with a gardening job this morning. I used to hate gardening with a vengeance, and now that I've actually done it for most of this morning and afternoon, I still do.
