Happy Thanksgiving gents. Nicely turned out Tom. Wearing a just received Mallory Premier Durafelt, the planets and my disposable income finally aligned to obtain a nice Mallory. The felt is unbelievable. Thanks to fellow Lounger David as well for coming up with it.

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

MN; Great hat for a rainy day. Your pics of late showcase stylish hats.

Jeff; It is a toss up between the blue VS and your silverbelly Tumwater hat which is the most distinctivly classy look IMO. Love the hats. Looks to be a warmer winter moment in your pic.

Tom; Your outfit is good looking and the hat coordinates well. I do enjoy wearing my cord.bazer around town.

Mike; I keep returning to your pic to gander at the hat and wool jacket. Truly a great combo sir.

This 20'F Thanksgiving morning found me out and about in a wool jacket and my VS Moss hat. I chose the hat not for the coordination of outfit, but as I just like the green moss color. The hat beconned to me this morning, "wear me today." I am learning to be a better listener as a husband and a coach so I complied.

That's a profoundly sharp looking hat, Bowlerman.

I'll say it is!

tomb--sharp looking Fed IV.

Mike-that Mallory is sublime. Congrats on planetary/monetary/beneficiary alignment.

Eric--I would say you listened quite well. Good looking VS.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Thanks sir. Holiday greetings for you and your family.

Your recent posting of the VS Strat clone makes my heart race. The grey looks fabulous. That is a GREAT wearable hat.

Case; The colors of the hat and ribbon treatment are popping in this pic. Fine hat.

Odd one today. Bergen Hatters out of Jersey City. NJ. Kind of like an abbreviated top hat. Saw it referred to as a John Bull top hat on some sites I found.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

I think those were made for some kind of uniform, probably from a fraternal organization. You see them pop up from time to time, usually in odd colors. Here's one in white and purple. I have only seen this style produced by Bergen and by the W. Alboum Hat Company of Irvington, NJ.

Some more examples.

I saw another post suggesting the fraternal origin. It is interesting that the liner in the white example states "Styled in the English Manner." Definitely have some wild colors.

Mine is well made. Very comfortable too.

Today I wore my brown Bate's Trilby out walking the hounds. When I came back my daughter said that I looked like a cowboy (?). Happy Thanksgiving to all!
