You looking sharp with that Homburg. Great photos and especially the last Shot. I Love it!!

My niece looked beautiful; the wedding was really nice. Got to see some extended family, nieces, nephews, and family friends.

Way to rock that Hommy AnA!

Thanks, Scott! It was a very special occasion, so this was a fitting hat. :)

Great homburgs guys. AnA I especially like the color of yours.

The label says, "Lt. Sky". I think that's a great name for the color! It's a very light grey without being silverbelly; exactly the color I wanted when I bought it.

The morning mid 60'F temps have me comfortable in a 50's vintage Adam thin ribbon fedora. I am not sure of the color (by Adam) or the model as there is no label under the leather band. The high crown, bigger swooped hat is in excellent condition.

Super hat, Eric! I'm jealous of your temps, it's been muggy for the past couple of days here in Atlanta. That looks like it could be a fawn color; or acorn, maybe? Either way, you're right on the money, that's in fantastic condition. The interior looks practically unworn.

Wearing the Akubra Snow River on this lazy Sunday.

For a lazy day, that hat is ready for an adventure! :)

Yup. +1. I've said on a few occasions that both of them, IMO, look better in caps than they do wearing fedoras. They both wear caps very well.

Indeed. I also like their fedoras, especially MoK's stingy style. :thumb:

Broke out the Stetson open road today.

Very nice, Frank!

Going out to breakfast in my BSHW olive milan

A perfect choice, Mike. Those are very good dimensions; I like the crown height on you.

Thanks for the comments on the cap folks
------------------------------------------------

Manfred - Lovely hat, but you remind me I've yet to add blue to my collection :)

AnA - Great Homburg

Eric - Whatever that Adam is called, and whatever the colour is, it's a great looking hat.

Andy - looking like you're going a strolling. Looks good.

Frank - that stetson really suits you.

Mike - great combo

John - a fine pair

Manfred - Great cap. Maybe better luck with the hunt next week.

Fun summer shots, gents.

Temperature was a bit cool and breezy in Calais, so it's back to the old Borsalino.

This is part of a Rodin bronze that depicts the surrender of Calais in 1347 to Edward III. Looks better on this chap than me.

With a bit of luck and grace, we'll be crossing the channel tomorrow, headed for jolly old England.

Morning Guys
A lot of great Hats this weekend

Mike , What's for breakfast ? great Milan/Shirt combo.

Second that Che, great posts today. Joe's Special this morning but not as good as the real Bay Area Joe's.

Nice to see some representation from across the pond too. We can always count on Manfred to look sharp. Richard, you do look more of a Sunday bloke although a pix of you in a bacchanalian state would be fun.

Always enjoy your adventure posts Randall. You know where you need to post that pix too, after all it's your thread ;)

Beaver Brand / NW Hats conversion. I took the edge binding off and steamed the stitch holes out. You can still see a slight line where Mike Miller had stitched it on. It's so subtle, I like it...

Busy day for me. A trip in the small fishing boat to deliver needed fuel to my nephews who had been using our water ski boat. A trip to get dog and horse food. A trip to the local hardware store. A trip to our local coffee shop as they were roasting some new "peaberry" coffee. Of course the grocery store run after discovering that guests had been invited for a late evening dinner. Errands and shopping - bah humbug! It did give me a chance to break out some felt hats in todays 69' weather.

I am calling this vtg 40's other Stetson hat the Dragon Fly.

Some really fine portraits over the last couple of days... hard to pick my favorites. Job, Richard, Randall, HamilcarBarca3 among many memorable shots.

Donna and I ventured out to the Clarence Antique World/Flea Market today. This used to be a regular stop for us during the couple of decades before we had kids... we've visited rarely since. It was fun to return. Wore a panama boater, which drew little of attention from the vendors.

There were very few mens hats. I chatted with the vendor of this Von Gal boater and took a couple of pictures for Josh. Not sure if this is before or after the era of Hawes Von Gal... guessing after. Very heavy weight for a straw.

I did find a few things to buy and I thought they were bargains. Bought the Kupono shirt from Honolulu, slide rule (I love these - this was a nice one with its case intact) and the Borsalino with a twenty and had enough left for a hot fudge sundae at Andersons afterwards.

Nice felted brim Borso with a couple of quirks which I'll share in the Brotherhood thread tomorrow.

The celluloid necklace for Donna set us back a little more, but it's her birthday in a week.
