MichaelShane, I have said it before. You were born to wear a hat! Great Pic!

DJH, that Powell is exemplary!

Tom, that Biltmore is a winner!

Sam, that Knox is some kind sweet!

Joao, you barely have room for that hat in the car, but it's looks good on you.

Monk, that is a stellar whippet!

Eric, a Stratoliner is on my wish list, and that one is superb!

If I forgot anyone, forgive me, y'all look terrific today.

So many great hats to start the week... how to comment on them all?

...Great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, and great.

Michaelshane and Salty, great and great and great to see you back here.

Excuse the flip attempt at humor. Busy Monday but always a treat to take a break and take in this the thread. Thanks for posting your wears.

JonnyO, great pics-- looks like you had a great time. Only one hat on the trip? Looks nice, but gotta say it's better on the photographer! ;) Actually I don't even try to wear hats in public when my daughter brings one along (one of mine, of course). She shows me up every time!

David, that Deckard Powell is a mighty fine looking lid.

I'm a big fan of that Gatemouth, too, Perry! Man it looks great.

Congrats on that Superfine, Sam. Also looks like a treasure!

m0nk, Salty, both awesome.

Eric, that light sage VS is absolutely a stunner. What a striking color. I know I'm repeating myself, but wow.

I began the day in a Brill's Fifteen

and later had to do an interview for a news spot that I'm told will air next week sometime. I didn't know what to don, so I went with the VS Bobby Blue. Unfortunately, the hat won't make a television appearance!

Back to Brill's now.

This is a fine Vanzina hat sold from a hat store in Brunico, about ten miles from the border with Austria. It traveled from Dinerman to Zetwal before arriving in my collection a couple of years back. 2" brim, creased to a 5" crown.

Thanks Josh. You would like this one, I think and I would like to show it to you sometime for your opinion on age. Both Dinerman and Zetwal thought it was 1930s. It does have a wide gray sweatband, basting stitches on the ribbon bow and some other features that suggest that period, but I think it is a later hat.
