+1 folks. The posts the past couple of weeks have been spectacular. Keep them coming.

Manfred; You are a very gracious fellow and gentlemanly in your positive posts. I read the forum and enjoy the interactions and comments most days. It is without a single post that you are positive and complimenting. I want to take this moment to thank you and say that I recognize your efforts. It is a pleasure to know you, even if it is via forum posts.

Sir, I tip my hat in your direction sir for your everyday graciousness.

Best to all, Eric -

I am having a hard time keeping up! So many great hats and back drops!

Perry, David and Manfred, Thanks!

Al, Thanks! I totally agree about the natural light photos. That's what makes your post so fantastic (same with Alan, Nik, Jeff, Eric, David and so on)!

Manfred: I share the conviction that you are the most gracious, kind, and generous member of the Lounge, and that is saying a lot, as this is without question the most civil and well-mannered forum on the web. As always, you are much too kind in your comments of my photos, but I thank you, with deep appreciation, my friend. :yo:

Steve: Many thanks! I really look forward to seeing more of your fabulous hats out and about.

David: You know that it has to be good when Whippet Wheek trumps TW Tuesday. :pop2: Great looking Whippet!

Perry: The pack is off and running. Another beautiful Whippet!

Definitely agree on this.

Natural light? I see a little of that on the weekends...

Beautiful Whippets Dave and Perry. One of the next customs I want to get will be in a Whippet style.

Thanks Delectans, it's one of my favorite for the felt quality. It's not so easy to mix it with my other clothes so it doesn't get out as much as I'd like.

Thanks Perry, I've grown to really like mixing tweeds and denim. The rougher textured fabric of both works well together (at least in my opinion).

Thanks Randooch

I have been out checking out the bird and mammals this morning. The dogs and I headed out to the tall grass prairie this morning. This prairie expanse opens up and forms a large square mile of open grassland, with scattered oak, aspens, and poplar savannas.

The grasses are tall, thick and very dry for this time of the year. When we halted during the walk and stood still, you could hear the animals and birds moving thru the woods edge and thru the grass. They are very busy at this time of year.

In the pic below you can glimpse a silhouette of my vintage Stetson Stratoliner (silverbelly).
