Today was the Silverbelly Campdraft. Camera finally died for good after I dropped it, so I’m stuck with the webcam which is too bad because my straight-domed hatshaper arrived today. Tomorrow I’m going to see if I can fix up my disassembled Nostalgia into something useful.

I had enough time to setup my telescope in unused bathroom which overlooks the Pacific and figured I could use the scope as an expensive pinhole device and see the reflection off the ceiling - well, here are some pictures:

Very nice! Thanks for posting ... :yo:

Al, my friend, it's also Hot in Germany. 26 grad = 78,8 F.
I have an old Milan Pork Pie from Thomas Begg and a cheap Cuenca from Homero Ortega. Perhaps I should wear it but I think I am not a Pork Pie guy! :D

B.J, nice photo with the CD. I really like the bash on it.

David, what a great looking Hat. Very nice also, the ribbon.

Joao, very nice Western. You are the right man for that!

Mike, super Hats, all of them looking great. The Vita Felt is a burner!

Even though I've been back a week, I liked this hatted (Jackson Hole Hatters 8X gambler) portrait at the outflow of Flathead Lake, at the Kerr Dam, Polson, Montana. The dam is quite impressive and allegedly higher than Niagara Falls...but the output is nowhere near.

My favorite shot from the 10-day trip--Looking west across Flathead Lake (largest freshwater body west of Mississippi)

HI Manfred, PERSONALLY I think the extra brim looks good on you. It helps to balance your face a little better. The pork pie looks good too, just not quite as good.

Just my $0.02
