HarpPlayerGene, I like what you've done with your Chatham. It's nice to see others enjoying a contemporary Stetson. I have several, myself. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

mcarthur, Welcome to the Lounge! I just re-read your post, and saw what the hat is. (If you read this before my edit, please forgive the mis-identification.) Great ribbon on it!

If I ever run across another one though, you 2 guys will have 1st dibs on it. :D

Hey Gene- The Chatham looks great on you. I have one that I enjoy too.
You have a great collection, sir! ;)

Thanks Gent! About time I started participating in these threads more. I have enjoyed seeing everyone else's hats so much and it's my turn to share what's in my stash! Great fun all around.

Thanks, J.T. I've got this Chat' and a black Temple. Like 'em both just fine but have lots more occasions to grab the Chatham. One of those hats that makes the jump from dressy to casual real well. It took to that semi-diamond real easily too with just a bit of steam.

Looks good, Douglas. Glad to see I'm not the only one still wearing some felts in the summer. I sort of have Thursday as "Panama Day" lately. Of course there are a lot of my fur felts that are waiting until fall/winter but I've got a few that I don't mind putting a little warm weather mileage on.

All the best!

Baron Kurtz, Very impressive. Given where you live, I'd say you see many things that don't normally circulate here in the "colonies." Happy July 4th, and God save the Queen!!! :) :eusa_clap

Lightweight German felt from the 30s: This one is a rich brown with 1.25" ribbon, 2.25" raw edge brim and 4.5" crown.

Unlined just with the Ferd. Meister Nürnberg sticker on the inside of the crown.

mcarthur, if you can, please take a few more photos of your Optimos and post them on the Optimo thread. We've seen so few Optimos in the past but, lately, they're coming out of the woodwork.
