You're right RBH, the Marathons are fine hats. The bow is a bit wrinkled. I'm going to try and use a hot butter knife to press it.

Bolthead, right after I took the picture we had a 20 minute freak snow storm. Looked like a blizzard for twenty minutes.

I wore my glengarry to curling today. It has some of my curling pins on it, Though I have a whole bunch more, these are the ones which have a safety pin type back instead of a lapel pin type bacing, which doesn't work on the thick wool of this hat.

From left to right- the Etchemin Curling Club-1935, The Potomac Curling Club, The Potomac Junior Bonspiel 2007 1st event winner:) , the Potomac Junior Bonspiel 2008 1st event winner:D , the 2004 Plainfield 4th event runnerup:rolleyes: .
The other side has a vintage pin from the Chantecler, Ste Adelle Que. The cool thing about it is the broom bristles are made out of what feels like nylon fishing line.

Really I bet in its day that was one sweet hat! I love the style and the way it looks on.
It is truly [besides the wear and tear] one of the best fitting hats I have seen you wear. I like the way the crown height and the brim width and ribbon look on you!.

Dinerman, if that hat were in better condition it would be the greatest. The crown shape, shade, ribbon, and brim style are just achingly cool.

Not that it isn't awesome the way it is, but you get what I'm saying.

A good ferret? That's an oxy moron.....besides, I'd much prefer this......you can keep your ferret.

The right ferret is a delightful companion animal. My little guy Tommy used to ride my shoulder -- he was a fun fellow.

I always did want a ferret.

Royal Stetson. It started to look really nasty because I was messing with the crown too much. I popped it back into open crown, soaked it, and started fresh. This particular hat looks alot better with a looser pinch.
