The Black Jack Strat....

Deputy, that's a nice hat - is it a dimensional brim? It looks like it might be so I was just curious.

Received this in the mail today... 50s 7x Stetson. A wee bit tight - going to sweet talk it tonight.
I believe that hat is late 40's.
Today I'm wearing my Gary White Chicago Hook. Perfect for a lovely WNY winter day!
Very nice Gary White!... the sun is shining in downtown Buffalo.
Believe it's from the late 40's, Stetson Standard Quality, recent snag while fishing in the 'Bay. It is linerless, which is quite comfortable. More thoughts on it coming to another thread.

I agree, T Rick, that is nice, and I like your bash with the high crown pinch. Very cool.

Thanks. Yes, it is the one where I won the auction in the last second by one pennyIs that the blue one from the end of the year? Looks great!
I think you did very well there - and I also would think it might be a 1930s hat.
cheers,
Alan
Looks great!
If it is a Standard quality, more likely older than 40's!
Edit: This thread might help date it Pre- 1940s Stetson dress hats.
Thanks, pretty pleased with this one too! That is a sweet lid!
Thanks. Can't take credit for the bash though, this is how it came to me. Seems to have been like this for quite some time, and I think would take some steam if I had a mind to change it. But TBH, I have no desire to do so, I really like it just as it is.I agree, T Rick, that is nice, and I like your bash with the high crown pinch. Very cool.
Thank you Sir!Very nice look Rick.
