Looks HORRIBLE, Rusty. Really, really awful. Better send it to me.RBH said:Lefty set the bar for today.. here is a shot of me and my daughter around the pool waiting on the ribs!
I wet this old milan down and gave it a some what diamond crease, it seemed to have a crown that went on forever!
Now I like it a lot better, the old milan shapes really well.
Great look, very pretty companion! Two thumbs up. :eusa_clapSlim Portly said:I wore my Royal Stetson out on the town last night with my new friend and received many appreciative glances. At least I think everyone was looking at the hat.

That's a nice one. Is it vintage or new? Brim size, crown size, or guess?Salty O'Rourke said:Muggy day today with a chance of rain, so I'm wearing a lightweight felt - my Emerson Dryette:

Well, it looks great. The kind of dimensions I like best. Used to its max right there. I will have to go hunting for such vintage hats sometime.Salty O'Rourke said:Thanks, Dan - it's a very nice vintage lid that I bought from fellow Lounger ScottF. Brim is 2 3/4", crown is 4 1/2" as bashed.
Wildblue said:Rusty, for the record, your daughter is very attractive. Thanks for posting.
Much thanks, sir, I very much appreciate it!Brent Hutto said:I don't usually comment on these pictures but I must say you'll never see a hat that is a) more suited in every way to the man wearing it and b) being worn in more of a "just so" manner. Fabulous.
In particular I like the fact that the hat is just enough darker than the suit, that really makes the outfit pop. And the shoes and socks are an ideal choice. Many folks would have gone with black and lost that little touch of color.
Well done.
