Great Hat

I have seen every day the lounge and it is incredible the quantity of fine and good look hats, I am really amazed and confused, I did not want buy any more hat, but now, two months ago, I have began to buy more, the last month a Wegener, when saw the thread Austrian and Germans and the Mayserwegwer´s hats.

Nice... Congrats, I got married outdoors in Charleston, SC and wish I had been into hats at the time.

I was off today and had on my Wynewood pork pie. Wife likes the front brim down.

Ernest, you have me wanting to get a boater now! It looks really good on you.

RLK, do you own any hats that you don't look great in? :)

I'm a sucker for pork pies, and that's a nice one. I like the crown height and wide ribbon a lot. I used to be strictly "brim up" when it comes to pork pies, but hanging around here has made me favor the brim down. I say wear it however you like it.

Congratulations, Billy - now tell us, how did you decided on which hat to wear on this most auspicious occasion? I can't imagine it was easy, having seen a few of your super Homburgs posted here.

This shot is for Craig....

My PanamaBob/Art Fawcett colonial panama.

It is aging well, the color of the straw is taken on the 'gold' hue of many vintage hats I have seen.

...

:D :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :D

Perfect timing, R! I've just made arrangements with Tom Gomez to reblock my latest PB Cuenca into.... take a guess......

Very nice! I have noted those long stitches on several older style ribbons, but I have not ever noticed one tacking the top corner of the bow like that. :eusa_clap

Oh yes, hats can become adictive! Many over here started out with one hat .... and now need an extra room for that hobby or have their hats allover the place, becoming a nuisance to their spouses lol

Congrats on the wedding. Great look.
Being the first working day of May, I went with my Bailey Lite Straw Spencer, khakis, cotton navy blazer and oxford cloth blue button down shirt and yellow paisley tie. Good enough.
