Hell, I don't even know what size they are. More exciting this way I guess.

1930s Stetson Bowler, late '40s Dobbs Homburg, and a flattened top hat that looks pretty old.

Thanks Bowen. The naming usually comes from some shared experience or adventure we have together. It can take a while to earn a name & be christened.

I might have the post number wrong. It was a hat that Steve was commenting on. He spoke of the hatmaker that did hats for Scott & Co. The post was about another hat I think. The manufacture of the Lock & Co. and Scott & Co. may have been from Stockport, a hat making center in England. Something like Danbury CT here in the US. It is possible that there will be some clues under the sweat of your new beauty. I have a Battersby Homburg that was made in Stockport, and they made hats for some others too.

My experience is with English Stiff Felts / Bowlers. I might have mentioned something about Scott & Co. but can't remember. Stefan (Steur) has good size English Soft Felt collection.
