Regular Talisker. I keep it around because of friend of mine likes it. I do too but I like Dalwhinnie and a few others just as well.

Last night was tonight i suppose- Michael collins blended. I usually go for Old Grand Dad 114 but i needed a change. Michael collins is my go to irish whiskey, old grandad my go to bourbon unless i've got some more cash- then its basil hayden time LETS GET IT ON (still somewhat buzzed)

Raided a friend's whisky cabinet at a party last weekend. Tasted lots of fancy stuff but settled on the Johnnie Walker Blue. Between three of us we polished a bottle off.

Went out to dinner with my family last night and they mixed an excellent Manhattan.

I recently purchased a bottle of mead, I saw and thought "Hey vikings!"

I find the taste pleasant enough and it is especially nice coming in from a winter day, takes the edge off the cold when I am finally in of doors.

I tried something called "Winter Pimms" last night.

Served warm with apple juice. It was surprsingly good for a cold night.
