It's a very British style I think, the darts go to the back like this(would take a picture but not sure my webcam would show the seam) sometimes they are sewn three times all around the rim of the cap but they're rarer these days.

With the heat and humidity being…well….rather noticeable….most of my caps have mostly been on the wall hook in favor of Panama Hats due to the leather sweatbands trapping a lot of heat. But as a cap guy I wanted to have a some inexpensive beaters that can get sweaty but cleaned up rather easily so out come the cotton Botvelas. This is a new one in Khaki. It’s a nice color, kind of a Camel Brown or British Khaki. It looks like the newsie cap to wear while flying a Grumman Goose around the South Pacific!

Cordova vintage wool one piece. I don't know if this is a dogtooth or a g-uncheck pattern. I can never tell the difference.

ive been doing Hannas for years, but no more straight from Ireland , amazon been pullling it off nicely , all caps fit differently , and me i get them them wet and shape them , got 4 more this past year

Thanks, going to make another soon learnt a better way to stitch by hand, seen an old pair of navy blue pinstripe trousers in a charity shop what I think would make a decent looking cap, and have an old shirt what fits a bit small for the liner and some hessian for the cap filler, think I will cut some brims out of a flexible plastic storage box.

Envious as always! Still hope to get a good Wabash stripe cap someday.

I have been enjoying a new linen Cordova Cap. Others on this thread have showcased their Cordova linens. I echo their comments that this is a dynamite warm weather cap. The Fox Brothers linen is a grand cap material!

The fit for me is topnotch. I enjoy tugging the cap down on the back of my head. The cap dimensions have been worked out that the cap still can have normal dimensions.

The light blue linen is just what I had wished for. It is a colorway that I do not have and coordinates with some warm weather attire.
