For my RX sunglasses, I’m always trying to go as dark as possible - so they don’t look prescription. Though a mirror finish (usually black or gold) conceals nicely. Clip-ons also work and look a little less modern than the mirrors. Unfortunately my wife thinks the clip-ons look ridiculously steampunk :(

I've been looking for a pair of sunglasses like these worn by Lowell Thomas in Afghanistan, 1923. I can't tell for sure, but it almost looks like they have side lenses. Maybe just a shadow. Any suggestion for finding a pair?

Have moved onto Maui Jim these days favouring the lense quality, robust frames and comfort over over brands. My Raybans are due on eBay any day because I just don’t wear them anymore. RRP on Maui Jim is quite high but they are often discounted in shops and online which has enabled me to purchase few pairs including Wayfarer and Aviator styles.

Another Jacques Marie Mage fan here - really like their wider fit offerings (also appreciate that they provide the frame width in their measurements). Have a few pairs of Maui Jims and Costas for when I go fishing, skiing, etc. as I do think they have the best lenses.
