That first coat is awesome. The lapels! Also love the color coordination in your ensembles.
If you ever decide to part with that '36 Dinner Suit, please let me know. That is the year my Grandpa was born, and he is from California too!
Thanks - I've just posted a couple more photos of it in the 'Show us your sports coats' thread.
For me the secret of good colour coordination is a wide selection of ties. So I went on holiday with one tie for each day:

Something different. Army issue coat, boots, and beanie. Staying warm on the run to the mail box
Just curious Splinter why do you call it a beanie,up here in the frozen north we use the word "toque" pronounced like toook?
If it becomes a full face mask it's called a "Balaclava" probably not spelled correctlyThat's what I have always called it But I should be calling it a ski-mask type thing, it becomes a full fase mask when rolled down. Not sure if there is an actual name for it. Now I know a new one though... Toque..
Ski mask works, you could say Face mask but then they'd think you're going to play hockey or you're Jason from Friday The 13th or Michael Meyers of Halloween fame.As for long days I ain't got much going on anyway.Glad you liked the Pony joke(haha)Thats the term, lol! I can't believe I forgot it. Gotta love long days, aye?
Haha, that one was awesome!
I rarely wear it as a ski mask though... people may think I am going to go raid something, LOL!
