Today I was all modern and casual... or at least my definition of casual.
The hat is from PanamaBob, and nothing is vintage. Well, the vest is of dubious age, but I don't think it is that old.

Man, I like this. Your best yet!

Very nice safari style. I might have to copy that ascot style in to my summer outfits. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you very much. You are always so well dressed, so hearing you approve what I was wearing means a lot.

Oh come on now..

But I do mean it. I wouldn't say so if I wouldn't. We Finns are somewhat forthright in that regard ;)

I particularly like the rolled up sleeves. I'm probably going for a much similar look.

I'm going to have a collarless grandad shirt with rolled up sleeves, custom made khaki, high-rise, buckle back linen trousers (that I'm having made), white bucks and a straw boater.

I've got all except the trousers.. Welcome summer.

Cosy indoor picnic tonight. Dress up for dress down food.

Homemade dress, roses in hair, lace over silk shoes disgarded on the floor. My dinner guest wore black trousers, black shirt, a fedora and a smile.

Looks great:eusa_clap
But you must definitely buy a better camera..... or change the Photographer

Thank you! My favourite part is the flowers in my hair. I agree, the camera is my crappy phone, the room was dimly lit and a new photographer has been ordered :D

If you could convert the photo to black and white, and sepia tone, it would be hard to tell what decade it was taken in!

This photo is inspired by some catalogue scans I've seen posted here.

DSC07302.jpg

From top to bottom:
Charcoal gray argyll socks
Clarks leather-sole shoes
Braces
Unmarked hat
1950s suit
Radiac collar
Boston sock garters
Champion fountain pen
Studs, tie bar, safety snap links
Wallet
Tootal tie
Smiths watch and leather strap
Linen pocket square
Cotton handkercheif
Unmarked shirt

Sounds like a lot all listed out like that, but it doesn't take long to get dressed.

I will be very surprised if I don't get Indiana Jones or Cowboy comments today, but I never know how the minds of the unhatted masses work.

Sorry for the blurry pictures, I am kinda bad at cameras.
