Finally, a chance to wear the vintage dress I bought from Miss 1940s. It's a lovely print (hard to make out in the photo), and trimmed with buttons along the sleeves and pockets.

This is one of the light weight suits I had made in Afghanistan last year - the tailor couldn't quite the the breast patch pocket angled right. 1940's tie, Allen-Edmonds Broadstreet shoes, and a very old boater made of some type of reeds - had to coat it with several layers of polyurethane varnish to keep it from deteriorating!
