Last night it was Roy Buchanan, Sweet Dreams (then whatever YouTube tacked on) We watched The Departed the night before, and I've always considered it a brilliant track for the close after Whalburg's Dingam does Damon's Sullivan.

The video Yamahana posted got me to thinking back on Tito & Tarantula:

I had never heard anyone mention Tito Tarantula. I figured I was alone in my like for the band and his earlier band, The Cruzados. Nice choice!

I'll have to look into The Cruzados. I've looked at Tito and Tarantula as heirs of the Velvet Underground type of tradition.
