I can't stop playing the new "Exits..." CD by San Antonio's Girl in a Coma. npr.org has a free listen. Alt rock girl trio. Search their version of Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight" for a fresh breath.

Also regularly revisit Bombino's release which in my opinion is Saharan jam rock.

Motown interested may like the last CD I wore out from Denmark's Quadron. Chase down "Slippin' " on YouTube or similar.
