That shirt got linked to and hyped on a bunch of blogs and people went nuts bidding. When all is said and done, I bet that shirt sells for somewhere between $800 and $2000, which seems to be about the range for Stiefel and Wabash type items.

For 15,000 a guy could buy a minty A-2 jacket with a good provenance and patches and a pair of deadstock levis from the 1940s/1950s and five or six deadstock 40s and 50s chambray and covert cloth workshirts, and a spot on repro of a wabash shirt made (http://www.ware-house.co.jp/index.php?page=item&ic=29306) and still have money left over. Or, he could just have that shirt.

That work shirt has been pulled and relisted several times. My sources tell me those pics were ripped and the auction is a fake. Not sure what the seller is trying to accomplish here?

Some actual Vintage Workwear-

This is a very old and salty work jacket, in that classic "work jacket" style,
which has been around for more than 100 years.
It's made from hemp drill cloth and has pewter buttons.
I imagine it was a green-ish khaki when new but now, it's faded to a nice,
pale khaki-ish grey.
The "crossed wrenches" stencil, or print, is really pretty cool.
Just the thing for the authentic, vintage hot rodder.

Thank you- that's what I reckon. No fancy stuff- all substance.
It must be at least 70 years old, if it's a day and it's been through a good few boil-washes-
a salty(but clean)patina but structurally sound. It was stinky and filthy when I found it,
full of black grease, dirt and animal remains.
But now, it's clean and fresh again.

Solid, European utility garment'ry. And no denim in sight.
I don't know if cotton would have survived so well.
Cotton rots, as you know, if not kept safe but the hemp just carries on.

I've seen another, similar example with a propeller stenciled in red,
on the chest and back. Maybe it has a chest pocket.
It's even cooler than this one.

Russian pants and jacket.

Ex-military, I reckon.

Nice, washed out khaki trousers, very coarse, but lightweight fabric. I like the pockets, no backpockets, cinchback or reinforcement on the seat.

Ex-military telogreika, dyed brown, new buttons. Cinchback.

Detail of the closure, should have taken one of the back. Forgive me, I'm still figuring out the camera/photography thing. .

1980's ! Still, very nice trousers. Nice colour. The shop I got it from had similar ones with a reinforced seat and fancier pockets. i like that Panama hat they wore as well. Thanks for the info.
