I could not pass this flea market find up ($25). Works (as many seem to) and has its correct basket and innards. A circa 1920? Thermax (Landers, Frary & Clark) E9124.

Circa 1945 Sunbeam C30AB with war restriction glass upper pot (saved on copper and chrome). Been wanting one of these for a while.

Got this a couple of weeks ago. A Mid-century Italian Neapolitan (Cuccuma) coffee maker. Design goes all the way back to the early 19th century created by a Frenchman, and was enthusiastically adopted by the Italians (who still make them). They have since been surpassed in popularity by the Moka pot (invented in the 1930's). I LOVE the hammered finish of this one, giving a great Arts and Crafts look!
Water is heated in the left part, when boiling the filter sleeve is inserted (as shown) and the pot is placed on (upside down) and then the whole unit is flipped over (looking like the upper photo sans the lid). The water then travels through the filter and coffee, the now upper is removed when done and the lid placed on the pot ready to drink.
