I've always admired this jacket, it leaves an impression. The green lining with matching thread on the label! The Collar is magnificant, there you go in grey, it has a look of something special, the quality is apparent.

I was just talking about half-belts on early Sears MC jackets, a style the could not let go of. The half-belt is that civilian touch that makes the jacket even more distinctive. The lining is pre-nylon late 40s. This style/combination was old back on a new front. This was gone on the Sears jacket by 1949/50. I would say this Lawrence fits in that time.

this one hits all the marks plus a beautiful collar, the price is what it should be.

I did not recall the early half-belt back, the whole combination is early post war production, the wave that created all these jackets.

IMO this is the single coolest vintage (actually new or vintage) jacket ever posted on this forum and the condition is just spectacular. Absolute unicorn. I don’t wear this style anymore but if this one fit I would buy it in a heartbeat.
