I've not seen much discussion of the Vanson Daredevil. I dig the perfecto design cues with the board racer minimalism. Anyone own one or a similar homologue?

Have one, it's survived my multiple jacket purges.

Love it. There is a collar gap so if that bugs you, you probably should look elsewhere.

Pardon my ignorance. Collar gap?

The Daredevil was designed to have an arced collar that frames the neck. Using premium leather (i.e. Vanson's Z150 cowhide) can augment this effect due to its initial stiffness. We rank the Daredevil highly among our best fitting jackets!

Here's what "collar gap" refers to (it's a very cool look!)--

All my Vanson model E jackets have had the same gap. It's a bit more noticeable on the trimmer fitting z-150 models but I never minded it, or even thought twice about it for that matter. One thing to note is that these jackets are quite slim. Particularly through the chest and shoulders.

Thanks for all the replies. I have more of an athletic build. Is this jacket better suited to a wiry, skinny jeans type build?

We've had really good luck fitting the Daredevil to a variety of different body types. Sometimes it is necessary to taper (or "reverse taper") the waist to get the right fit for a customer, but our fit jacket process makes it easy to determine if a waist adjustment is necessary. Keep in mind that the shoulder gussets allow for a snug fit in the shoulders, while giving more room for movement!
