This may seem an odd question, but what's the inside pocket config like? Just a couple of small inside pockets, or a full array of storage?
It's got a G-1 style snap pocket on the left side. The front 2-way pockets hold a lot of gear: I can fit my iPhone 6-Plus on one side and my over-stuffed Filson wallet in the other with ample room for my hands in the hand warmer pockets (plus room for my keys or other stuff in there next to my "meat hooks", LOL).

Just picked one of these up at a vintage store here in San Diego. It is the goatskin variant by VF Solutions. Same pocket configuration as the cowhide version. The goatskin cleaned up really well. There are a few holes from pins and patch stitching. I wish the patches were still on the jacket, actually. I highly recommend this jacket, and it was a bargain at the vintage store. It is worth keeping an eye out for others. The L size fits like a 44-46, so it is a bit too big for me. Anyone know if it is possible to stitch up one hole in the lining and to reattach the front pocket liners? Do standard alterations places do work like this, or do you have to find a place for shoe repair or other leather specialists?

Another interesting tidbit I came across while getting to know my new jacket. The main tag is for VF, which I think is a big apparel company that probably uses a lot of sources for their garments. I noticed a tag on the inside recommending a leather cleaner in Tullahoma, TN. The name sounded familiar, and I realized it is the same place where Taylor is located. Maybe these jackets come from Taylor? Is this a common practice for leather makers to “relabel” some of their jackets?
