Stetson "Golden Century". I believe it's from 1966, due to the code on the sweatband, 556618. Very nice felt, cavanagh edge brim.

Cooperstown Ball Cap co., 1919 Rochester Hustlers. They make a really nice baseball cap! The leather band is soft and supple, and the wool felt is nice too. The color is much more of a deep red than the photo shows.

Terrific hats, Joel, makes me more inclined to order one of those Cooperstown hats when congress approves the funding. Could you post a shot wearing the ballcap? I noticed at the Coopertsown site they offer different cap styles based on how high on your head you want to wear it. Made me wonder if you ordered something special, or took their advice and ordered the most common. Looks good! I want a Chicago White Sox 1919 cap. Love the film "Eight Men Out". Great vintage wear in that film from my favorite period. Nice shots of your hats! The Stetson looks nice. I like a little more brim, as you know, and the ribbon...well,...I like them thin, at least for now, I sometimes shift in taste for no apparent reason. Do you still like your campaign hat?

Dean, I ordered the "regular" cut cap. It sits at my ears if I pull it on all the way, which seems about right to me. I really like the 20's ball caps, the brim is about 2/3 the size of a modern cap.

I don't do much campaigning here in the city, but I still like the 1898 hat. It satisfied an urge.

Like that Stetson

That Stetson looks VERY similar to a Caxton Twenty I got. Even the serrated head band is identical. I wonder what the purpose was to have those slits in the back half of the band?

Too bad my Caxton is full of moth holes. I bought it for the box, but when I tried the hat on, it was so comfortable I spared it (at least for now).

Excellent ball cap - thanks for posting it.

I'd love to see some comparison photos of the three cap "fullnesses." I'm not even sure which mine is!
Next one I get will have that leather sweat.

AND pssst: Cooperstown is having a sale right now. I think 25% off all caps through Christmas. (They sent me a post card)

That Stetson is one of the greatest looking hats I've seen in a while! The colours, the ribbon and the brim are exactly what I'm looking for! Well done.

Cheers,
Pembo.

Cooperstown Caps

Dang, you guys just keep coming up with new things for me to spend money on! Now, if I can just figure out how to keep my wife from finding out how much that 30s Yankee's cap cost!

Beautiful indeed. I just wish that those stingy brims and ball caps didn't make my face look so fat. :D But, like a buddy of mine said the other day, "You are fat!" :essen:
