Ribbon is almost identical to the topper i posted before this one, nothing wrong with it. It fits, but it'll sit on display with my other 1880s topper abd 1880s green derbyWow, now THAT'S a topper. Shame with that ribbon, though. Plan on wearing it anytime soon?

Gorgeous hats, both of them, Justin. Not for everyday wear (unless you're called Fabio). Quite the finds!Pre- April 28, 1892 W.H. Saunders top hat

Has a corrugated sweatband, and was cut away to show off this feature. Very neat

Justin, Thanks! It's really great.Solid indeed. Almost feels like a derby in the stiff category. with just a slight amount of give, but I'm sure steam wiuld make it a little more rigid

I want to see you in full white tie or morning dress as the topper deserves. I bet you’d look smashing at the Royal Ascot.

Spectacular! I see a lot of these opera hats on sale, but almost always damaged in some way. This one looks superb.Collapsible Penn-Craft opera hat sold at the Kleinhans in 1938. Hat and box in mint condition.
...a flea market find.
