This or That

My very first job when I finished high school was working at a commercial arts
shop.
At the time huge billboards on the streets
were very popular.
So was silk-screening for different projects. All applications done by hand
since it was a local shop.

I have done silk-screening at home and can duplicate a design.

I'm just baffled at what material was used to fill in the screen holes so that the paint will adhere or cover up where the
design has been inprinted. Being from the 50s, my guess on the paint being enamel, just not sure what was used to
fill in the gaps!

Thank you for your input Lizzie.

I will continue in another thread
and leave this for the intended
purpose it was meant for.

Wrist - love the history and romance of the pocket watch, but the wristwatch has plenty of both and is much more convenient.

Holiday falling on a Monday or falling on a Friday (i.e., the short week before or after the actual holiday weekend)?

Raybans (I am so far from Steve McQueen that I have to avoid anything he made famous so that the sad comparison is less obvious).

"Bullitt" or "The Great Escape"

Great Escape!

Stan Laurel or Harry Langdon?

(no specific movie)
In general, which one brought it home for you?
That "child-like" innocent persona?

By auto. Preferably an open Flivver.

I travelled the length of the Lincoln Highway in a '15 back in my salad days, and hope to undertake another such trip before entering my dotage.

Ukulele ike
or Johnny Marvin?

In 1982 the Flivver did pretty well. 35 miles per hour is the perfect speed foe sight-seeing.

Harold Lloyd

Crosley Gembox or Atwater Kent Model 40?

If it has to do with radios, I’ll go with CROSLEY.
My cousin had one and I enjoyed listening to it.

This or That?
Play music while driving. Singing to the song even if you don’t
know all the words but you fake it because there’s no one around to
tell you otherwise?

No music or singing while driving because the passengers get headaches
from the way you drive and the last thing they want to hear is you singing
off key to a song that is annoyingly loud?

I sing, and rather well. Unfortunately for my passengers, I am neither Kevin Gates nor T-Pain. They don't necessarily WANT to hear "I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate", or "Was Macht Der Maier"

Paint or paper?

I prefer paint!

Loud thunder storms & lightning at home:

Proceed as usual around the house?

Or hide in the closet, cover the mirrors and place a towel
over your hair for fear of lightning striking you?

(my ma used to this, bless her heart) :)

Heck, during this evening's violent thunderstorm I was finishing adding a new electrical circuit to the workshop.
