Nice! Never seen one like that before. Reminds me of a Zemaitis guitar.
Got a match?

Amazingly it is in excellent conditionLooks to be in good condition, very nice.
Is the watch running? Seeing Mickey chasing himself in the small seconds bit is hilarious!
Yes - a mechanical watch needs to be serviced every 5-8 years. This can cost more than the watch is worth sometimes.Amazingly it's still working.
I need to take it to watch repair to clean the inside just in case.

A great watch from a time when men knew not to wear "sport" styled watches with their suits.JFK wearing the Omega ‘Ultra Thin’ at his inauguration ball, January 20th 1961

The watch is of a time period from the
30s. It is a working time piece which I
enjoy very much. Cleaning is not as
expensive since all parts are in excellent
condition. I know a watch maker who
takes good care of my watches.
That's outrageous! I take all my watchesThats fortune for you - cheapest clean and lube here is $200. No cheaper even if the watch is factory fresh. A service and clean should involve taking apart every single piece and then putting it together again with lube and timing adjustments. Hours of work.
Almost never known tbem not to replace a gasket or wheel or cog.
That's outrageous! I take all my watches
to local man and he takes good care.
I also have a custom leather man who
does wonders with my leather jackets at
reasonable prices.
It is what it is. There are probably cheaper, unqualified guys around but I avoid them.
This is a town with 5 million people and no hand crafted leather jackets (any more) and only a handful of good watchmakers.
How much do you pay for a watch service there?
I take them to his place at home where
he has his own tools.
Watchmaker friend for years.Hmm - a bit unclear is this a qualified watchmaker or self-taught? How much?
