Two Types, the suit is definitely American, as the Etsy shop I bought it from sells things found in Wisconsin (or at least it's called WisconsinFound!) The reason I think it looks American is the lapels, but also the rounded fronts. Although it may be just in my feeling that these things make for an American look.

Still, some similar (American) examples, Buster Keaton in 1932, Hart Marx catalog from 1926 and Harold Lloyd in Speedy 1928 (I think the same suit as the Harold Lloyd picture I posted initially)

Eddie, the cap is vintage, made by a hatter in Belgium.

the first photo you posted is from 'Professor Beware' 1938, so unlikely to be the same suit.

Thanks! The tie is american, from the 1910s or 20s.



And the shirt is Dutch, I think 1940s.
