Woolies. I've never understood their advantage.

From an article on the last ghost town in the SF Bay, Drawbridge. A community that popped up in a marsh between, you guessed it, two draw bridges. Photo simply captioned "Ozzie Long family, in Drawbridge, Calif." Undated, but the town was established in 1876 and reached its zenith in the 20's.

Another recent get.....
F Meyerhuber Studio, Adrian Mich
Circa 1890

No other information other than obviously taken at Niagara Falls...

[M Hatman]

Circa 1890
Datesman Studio, Redding California
Interesting mix of military uniforms and civilian garb
Likely a "Post Band" as at least one is an Army Musician (double stripe pant leg), perhaps at practice.
Post Bands do have a history of allowing/adding local civilian talent (posts tended to be very small with only a Company/Troop or two being on site).

THIS is George (he was (the only one) identified in pencil on the back.

DOG was unidentified.......

I can't help but wonder if the fellow seated in the back row (with the other gent's hand on his shoulder) grew that mustache in an attempt to look older.
